Why I'm writing again

I used to write. Technical posts, mostly. Then life got busy and the habit broke.

This is me starting again.

The goal isn’t to build an audience or establish a brand — though both would be fine outcomes. The goal is to think in public. Writing forces a clarity that thinking alone doesn’t. If I can’t write it clearly, I don’t understand it yet.

Four things occupy most of my thinking: engineering, how to lead technical teams, what AI actually changes (versus what it just seems to change), and what it takes to build something from nothing as a solo operator.

I’ll write about all of them. Posts will be short. Some will be half-formed — that’s fine. Done is better than perfect.
